Returns policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
This policy applies to products bought from the Farmasib pharmacies in Sibiu (Farmacia 24 and Farmacia Farmasib). Because of the nature of pharmaceutical products and health safety rules, returns are possible only in the situations described below.
General rule
Products bought with a fiscal receipt cannot be returned, except as set out below. Please keep your fiscal receipt, as it is required for any request.
What can be returned
Medicines
Only if they have a quality or conformity defect that you could not have noticed at the time of purchase.
Medical devices under warranty
For example blood pressure monitors, electric toothbrushes or glucose meters. If the device is faulty, you can ask for it to be repaired. If it cannot be repaired, you can ask for a replacement, and if that is not possible either, a refund.
For the warranty you need the warranty certificate and the fiscal receipt. Repair or replacement is done within 15 calendar days of the date you reported the defect, unless otherwise agreed in writing or set by the manufacturer.
What cannot be returned
- medicines, with or without a prescription, when you have changed your mind or the doctor has changed the treatment;
- food supplements and parapharmaceutical products that need special storage conditions and whose traceability cannot be verified, for example those that must be kept between 2 and 25 °C or protected from moisture and sunlight;
- baby food;
- sealed products that have been opened, for health and hygiene reasons: cosmetics, intimate hygiene products and products that come into contact with mucous membranes (nappies, toothbrushes, dummies, breast pumps), unless a quality defect is found after purchase.
